The operator of this policy is MyStoreKit, a small workshop that builds Shopify apps.

2. What this policy covers

This policy applies to all the apps we offer through the Shopify App Store and elsewhere (including apps already published and apps we publish in the future), and to how information is handled on this website. We do not maintain a separate policy for each app. As the number of apps grows, the principles in this policy stay the same.

3. Information we handle

Through Shopify's API, our apps handle information to the extent necessary for running the store and for each app's features.

• Store information: basic settings such as the store name, domain, plan, and currency
• Product and order information: product data, order contents and line items, quantities purchased, the type of payment method, and shipping address
• Information about a store's buyers: names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and other information the store holds in connection with an order
• App settings and usage: rules and options configured inside the app, and logs used to investigate problems
• Contact information: email addresses and the contents of inquiries

4. Payment data

We do not handle payment details such as card numbers. App billing runs through Shopify's billing system, so we never see or store payment details.

5. How we use information

We use the information we handle for the following purposes.

• To provide and operate each app's features (verifying order contents, controlling what gets displayed, adjusting delivery dates, setting up gifts, and otherwise fulfilling each app's purpose)
• To investigate and fix problems
• To respond to inquiries
• To improve our apps (for this purpose, information is handled only in aggregate form that cannot identify individuals)

6. Disclosure to third parties

We do not disclose the information we handle to third parties, except in the following cases.

• When information is passed to Shopify because the app runs on the Shopify platform
• When disclosure is requested based on applicable law
• When a contractor necessary for providing the service (such as the provider of our servers) handles information to the extent necessary

7. Retention and protection

Information is retained only for the period you use the app, plus the minimum period needed afterward. When an app is uninstalled, we receive that notice from Shopify and promptly delete the data remaining on our side.

Our workshop is in Vietnam, and the information we handle may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, including on Shopify's platform and on our service providers' systems. Communications are encrypted, access is limited to the makers, and other technical and organizational measures are in place. We are a small workshop, but by keeping the scope of the information we handle as small as possible from the start, the design keeps risk small too.

8. Your rights

Store owners can review and change app settings at any time, and can stop their data being used by uninstalling the app.

To request disclosure, correction, or deletion of information, email us. We respond in accordance with applicable laws. When we receive the same kind of request from a store's buyers through the store owner, we handle it within the scope of the data we hold.

9. This website

This site consists of static pages. It uses Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited; Google Analytics sets cookies and receives data about your visit. We run no advertising trackers and do not sell information. Aside from emails sent to our contact address, there is no other mechanism that collects information through the site.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as apps are added or as laws change. A change takes effect when it is posted on this page.
